Dr. Evangelynn Honegger

Naturopathic Primary Care Physician, Licensed Acupuncturist, East Asian Medicine Practitioner

Dr. Vange has been passionate about healthcare for a long time. She offers a wide spectrum of health care modalities for all ages of patients and medical conditions; acute and chronic. Dr. Vange incorporates clinical nutrition, supplements, physical and hands-on therapies, herbal medicine, acupuncture, counseling and education to help patients restore balance to their health.

The ultimate goal is to treat the root cause of the problem. Dr. Vange strives to help patients meet their health goals and achieve their maximal state of wellness with individualized medicine. Dr. Vange is your health's best advocate, and her priority is to create a nourishing environment where patients can place trust in their primary care provider and emphasize YOU medicine.

Dr. Vange prioritizes referrals and currently has a wait list for patients looking to establish care.

 

Susana Schoenstein

Licensed Acupuncturist, East Asian Medicine Practitioner, Licensed Massage Practitioner

In her practice, Susana uses an integral approach, which recognizes the richness and diversity of a person and their unique relationship with their body and health.  As a partner in your healing, Susana will work with you to unlock the healing energy stored within you, and bring your body back into alignment. In addition to acupuncture, she integrates holistic modalities like craniosacral therapy, sound, massage and aroma-acupoint therapies creating a unique treatment plan customized to address your goals.

Susana graduated from Bastyr University, where she earned a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture, a Bachelor's degree in Natural Health Sciences and certification with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Upon graduation she began to pursue her interest in maternal healthcare becoming a birth doula, a childbirth educator and a maternal mental health advocate.

 

Mia Tarte

Licensed Nutritionist, Professional Chef

Mia possesses a strong desire to empower people to take control of their health through the principles of food as medicine, as well as share how simple and fun it can be to cook and eat nourishing foods everyday. Her passion lies in educating her patients to feel empowered to make optimal, healthy lifestyle changes and offering them hope and inspiration to heal physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. Mia's goal is to guide clients in understanding their bodies' needs to help them to make food choices fun, healthy, and approachable, especially for women, children and athletes. 

Mia was originally drawn to nutrition through her time being on the rowing team University of Portland. She has experienced first hand how nutrition, coupled with proper training can help athletes improve recovery, avoid injury and enhance training & performance. Mias own journey to motherhood has opened up a passion for women’s health, especially working with women who are hoping to get pregnant and regulate their cycles, and those who are pregnant and postpartum.

Sadie Hitsky

Functional Nutrition, Registered Dietitian

Sadie is a Seattle-based Registered Dietitian who completed her training in Integrative and Functional Nutrition at Bastyr University offering a wholefoods based approach to optimizing health. She has experience working as a hospital-based clinical dietitian and specializes in digestive health with certifications in the low FODMAP diet from Monash University. Sadie loves translating her nutrition education into tangible solutions that her patients can use to positively impact their life. Her favorite thing about being an RD is partnering with patients to make sustainable changes that optimize their wellbeing.

Sadie is native to the Pacific Northwest and enjoys spending her time backpacking, cross country skiing, taking yoga classes, cooking new recipes, and roller skating when the sunshine is out. She finds joy in traveling and meeting people along the way to learn about new places.

 

Jennifer Sturtevant

Lead Clinic Administrative Assistant, Chief of Behind the Scenes Magic

Originally from New England, Jennifer has called the Pacific Northwest her home for the past 18 years! She has been in the medical field for over two decades where she began her career as a receptionist and ultimately pursued and received her medical coding certification. Jennifer has a natural ability to welcome, connect, and assist our community of patients and we are incredibly lucky to have her supporting everything behind the scenes for patient centered care.

With a comprehensive background in customer service and a passion for helping people behind the scenes, she is thrilled to be part of the TRUEcare team! Jennifer’s greatest joys are spending time with her amazing kiddo and equally awesome husband. She also is an ultimate animal lover and momma to two giant kitty brothers and a newly adopted rescue pup.
