Pricing and Membership
Understanding the Change
-
Insurance pays for a short, 15-minute visits and does not pay for most of the services Dr Vange and team have been providing as an add on benefit. You were likely unaware that most of the services you have been receiving are actually paid for in other clinics.
Since Dr Vange opened her clinic in 2016, her rates have stayed the same. In the same timeframe, inflation has increased 38% in Kirkland and surrounding areas. It is simply impossible for TrueCare to stay open operating the same way.
Moving to membership and cash pay lets Dr. Vange keep practicing the way patients come here for.
-
No. Your plan is doing what it was designed to do. The mismatch is structural: insurance reimbursement is built around brief, problem-focused visits, not integrative primary care.
-
January 1, 2027. Every appointment through December 31, 2026 is billed to your insurance exactly as it is today. There is nothing you need to do right now.
-
Yes. The January 1, 2027 date, the membership structure, and the published prices are decided. We are sharing them early so you have plenty of time to plan and ask questions.
-
$165 per month, with no introductory appointment and no start fee, when Dr. Vange already has the history needed to continue your care. Your first year is $1,980 if you do not use any other services offered, which is typically about the same cost as an annual insurance deductible.
-
New patients add a one-time $595 comprehensive introductory appointment, which covers the long first visit and a written care plan. First year total is $2,575.
-
A couple is $330 per month with a $1,190 start fee for new patients. A family of four is $428 per month with a $1,580 start fee. Each member has their own eight included visits.
-
Eight primary-care visits per person each membership year, email support and care coordination between visits, same-week or next-week scheduling, and supplements from the dispensary at cost.
-
You simply pay the published cash rate for anything beyond the eight included visits. There is no penalty and no surprise.
-
Acute visits are not an extra charge while you still have included visits available. An acute concern uses one of your eight visits. If you routinely need care every two to three weeks, ask us about the higher-support option.
-
No. Membership is optional. You are welcome to schedule visits and pay the published cash rate at the time of service.
-
Then membership probably is not the right fit. Paying per visit may cost you less.
-
Item descriptionYou may end your membership at any time by sending written notice through Spruce or to info@truecareintegrative.com. Any prepaid, unearned portion of your monthly fee will be refunded, prorated from the date we receive your notice.
-
Each membership year includes up to eight primary-care visits per enrolled person. Visits are available during that membership year and do not roll over, transfer to another person, or convert to cash or credit. Unused visits are no longer available once the membership ends.

Insurance, labs, and getting money back
-
Yes. This is the most common misunderstanding, so to be completely clear: outside laboratory testing and imaging continue to be billed to your insurance exactly as they are today.
-
Many single-person plans carry roughly an $1,800 annual deductible, paid before the plan shares costs. Existing-patient membership is $1,980 a year, about $15 more per month than that deductible alone.
-
Yes. Insurance continues to cover outside labs and imaging, prescriptions, specialists, urgent care, and hospital care according to your benefits.
-
A superbill is an itemized receipt with the diagnosis and procedure codes your insurer needs. TRUEcare can provide one after eligible visits, and you submit it to your plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Payment is not guaranteed.
-
Call the member services number on your insurance card and ask: What is my out-of-network deductible? What percentage do you reimburse after it is met? How do I submit a superbill? Is there a claim deadline?
-
Visits and most testing are generally eligible HSA and FSA expenses. Whether the monthly membership fee itself is eligible depends on your plan, so please confirm with your plan administrator or tax advisor.
-
Acupuncture with Dr. Vange is cash pay: $225 for a single return visit, $1,290 for a package of six ($215 each), or $2,050 for a package of ten ($205 each). We can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
-
Appointments in 2026 are unchanged and billed to insurance. Appointments scheduled for January 2027 or later will be confirmed with you under the new structure before they happen.
-
Bring your questions to your next scheduled appointment with Dr. Vange, or message our team through Spruce anytime. We would much rather answer a question early than have you wonder.
-
Please tell us early rather than quietly dropping off. Labs and imaging stay on insurance, supplements are at cost, membership is optional, and superbills may bring some money back. If TRUEcare truly is not the right fit, Dr. Vange will gladly help you find an in-network clinician, and your records are always yours on request.

Yes. Leaving now does not close the door. Patients who step away and later decide this model works for them are welcome back. There may be a waitlist to re-establish care.
