An Important Patient Update
Beginning in January of 2027, TRUEcare Integrative Medicine plans to transition away from insurance billing and toward a membership and cash-pay model. Nothing is changing today.
We will continue billing insurance and providing care under our current structure through December 31, 2026.
Please continue scheduling appointments and receiving care as usual.
What Stays the Same
The Heart of your care will remain the same.
You can continue to expect the same personalized, thoughtful, and integrative approach from Dr. Vange and the TRUEcare team. This change relates to how care is structured and paid for - not the type, quality, or philosophy of care you receive.
The new model protects personalized and proactive care; comprehensive less-rushed appointments; greater continuity and follow-through; thoughtful review of labs, imaging, medications, and treatment plans; and a supportive and lasting relationship between our patients and care team.
Phase 1• January 1, 2027
Primary care, with two clear choices
Membership is optional.
Choose ongoing membership care or pay the published cash price when you need a focused visit.
Programs and additional services will come in a later phase, after the primary-care transition is established.
Choice A - Ongoing Membership: $165/month
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Choice B — Cash pay as needed:
No membership required
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Questions and Answers

As insurance plans are becoming increasingly limiting year after year, Dr. Vange has made the decision to opt out of all insurance contracts.
Dr. Vange believes that everyone benefits from patient care that is individualized directly to them, whether it’s for optimization, prevention, or working towards improving acute or chronic conditions. This model allows Dr. Vange to fully practice that approach.

No. Your plan is doing what it was designed to do. The mismatch is structural: insurance reimbursement is built around brief, problem-focused visits, not integrative primary care.

January 1, 2027. Every appointment through December 31, 2026 is billed to your insurance exactly as it is today. There is nothing you need to do right now.

Yes. The January 1, 2027 date, the membership structure, and the published prices are decided. We are sharing them early so you have plenty of time to plan choose what works best for your healthcare in the future.

Insurance still has a role
Patients may still use insurance for outside laboratory testing, imaging, prescriptions, specialists, urgent care, and hospital care according to their benefits.
Superbills can help
TRUEcare can provide a superbill for eligible visits. Patients may submit it to their insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement; payment is not guaranteed.
Questions are welcome
Please speak with our team or contact us through Spruce. We will share detailed enrollment steps well before January 1. There is nothing you need to do today.
Thank you for trusting us with your care.
With gratitude, Dr. Vange and the TRUEcare Team.
